Some young boys of Bani Israel were sitting and gossiping with each other on a passage. Meanwhile a very beautiful and elegant lady passed by them. They looked at her and said to each other that even a pious person who lived at some place would be captivated by her charms and indulge in sin. The lady heard this conversation and decided to test that pious old aged man. The same night she went to his home and knocked the door. When he came out she nervously said, “Some young boys of Bani Israel are following me and are trying to violate my chastity. If a pious man like you will not protect me then who else would do so? Please save me from them I will never forget your kindness”. Listening to her pleading, the pious man gave way and let her enter his house.
She went inside and immediately took off her clothes in a corner. Although he was a pious man, but seeing a beautiful lady all alone in his house, he could not resist and touched her. He immediately put the same hand in fire. The lady got worried and asked him that what he was doing. He said that: “I am burning this hand because it committed sin.” Seeing this, the woman quickly went out panting and asked people to go and see if he was alright. Hearing this people ran to the pious man’s house but before they arrived there he had completely burnt his hand.
